As of 1 September 2026, the Silesia Group has completed a leadership transition. Holger Wetzler has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Clemens Hanke, who has led the family-owned company as President and CEO since 1995, will remain closely involved with Silesia as Group Chairman and will continue to support the strategic development of the Group.

Holger Wetzler is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the international food and beverage industry. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of senior leadership positions across product management, sales and general management. Most recently, he served as CEO of a family-owned company within the industry.
