Review Food Ingredients Europe 2019
From 3-5 December 2019, Silesia brought a taste of the Mediterranean to the Food Ingredients fair in Paris.
Together with experts from Silesia, our visitors had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of high-quality flavors and at the same time were able to combine business with pleasure. Selected tasting samples were offered from all categories, which in addition to the unique Mediterranean taste also met the desire for healthy and sustainable nutrition – thanks to our innovative recipes and ingredients.
Italian-inspired iced teas on a jasmine or Oolong tea base combined fruity citrus notes with herbal flavors and were enriched with selected extracts for additional benefits.
From Occident to Orient our dessert range which was based on indulgent Greek yoghurt included something for every taste - French tarte au citron aroma with a delicate rounding off of lavender or Turkish baklava to mention just a couple of examples.
Sweets for everyone! Our confectionery department had various delicacies from the Mediterranean region to offer, with our fruit cubes enriched with hemp protein, fudge with chocolate flavors and oriental spice notes, sesame cookies with a fruit filling that promised a touch of 1001 nights and finally delicious white nougat.
If you prefer tasty Levantine mezze over sweets, our spicy appetizers would have been more to your liking. Vegan hummus or dahl dips with 95/5 flavors emphasized the current all-natural trend. In addition we served delicious croutons with Mediterranean seasoning and small salami based snacks.
In Paris, we delighted our customers with innovative product solutions and a tasty culinary tour around the Mediterranean. Following this successful trade fair appearance, we are already looking forward to seeing you all at the next Food Ingredients Europe 2020 in Frankfurt.
